LinkedIn is experimenting with a streamlined navigation layout on desktop and mobile. On desktop, menus are being merged into fewer tabs: the Profile tab now gathers analytics, saved posts and settings, while a new More tab houses puzzle games, news, groups, events, newsletters and video. Mobile users will see similar consolidation in the bottom bar. The test is rolling out gradually and varies by region and language.
LinkedIn is also displaying more of each text post in the main feed before readers need to tap the more link. That could lift engagement for creators, though it weakens the old tactic of hiding the main message behind the cut-off with line-by-line posts.
For clubs, leagues and sports brands using LinkedIn for sponsorship, partnership and business storytelling, the takeaway is to front-load value: open with the key result, partner name or insight, since readers will now see more before clicking. With newsletters, events and video moving under a More tab, teams should actively promote those formats in posts so they remain visible, and keep an eye on analytics now sitting under the Profile tab.
