Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Sport Content Playbook LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered address at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (EIN 61-2272435) (“SCP”, “we”). For any privacy question or request, write to info@sportscontentplaybook.com.

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use sportscontentplaybook.com and the SCP platform, why, and what rights you have. It applies together with our Terms of Service.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, e-mail address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and your profile photo if you add one.
  • Profile and preferences: information you choose to give us to personalize SCP, such as your role, organization, country, languages, sports, favourite profiles, goals, newsletter preferences and the website language.
  • Content you create: saved boards, content plans, notes and searches.
  • Subscription and billing data: your plan, its status and dates, invoices, the currency you pay in, your billing name, address and tax number if you provide them, and the type and last four digits of your card. Full card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
  • Usage data: the AI analyses you unlock, plus technical information needed to run the service securely (such as log data and IP addresses kept by our hosting and database providers).
  • Communications: messages you send us and the transactional e-mails we send you (for example, the date they were sent).
  • Newsletter: your e-mail address and your consent, if you subscribe.

We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers and we don’t sell your personal data.

3. How we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To provide SCP — create your account, give you the features of your plan, save your boards and plans, personalize the library (performance of our contract with you).
  • To handle subscriptions and payments — trials, charges, invoices, failed payments, plan changes and cancellations, and the e-mails about them such as payment confirmations and trial reminders (contract, and legal obligations for invoicing and tax records).
  • To send the newsletter — only if you subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter (consent).
  • To keep SCP secure and improve it — prevent fraud and abuse (for example, limiting free trials to one per person), fix problems and understand which features are used (our legitimate interests).
  • To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests (legal obligation).

4. Service providers

We share personal data only with providers that help us run SCP, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage and server functions.
  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions, invoices and fraud prevention. Stripe also processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional e-mails and newsletters.
  • Anthropic — the AI model that analyses posts from the Content Library. We send it the public post (caption and image), not your account data.
  • Our website hosting provider. Fonts and code libraries are served from our own servers, so no request goes to third parties such as Google Fonts.
  • Cal.com — the calendar for booking a demo. It loads on the demo page and when you choose to book a demo, and receives the details you enter to book (name, e-mail and the time you pick), under its own privacy policy.
  • Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn) — only when you choose to play or open a post inside SCP or in a blog article, which loads it from that platform.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

5. International transfers

SCP is operated from the United States and some of our providers process data in the United States or other countries. When personal data of people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where our providers participate in it.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Account, profile and content data: while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize this data within 30 days, except what we must keep.
  • Billing records and invoices: as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually up to 7–10 years).
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Security logs: for a limited period, typically no more than 12 months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw your consent at any time (for example, for the newsletter). You can update most of your information yourself in your profile.

To exercise your rights, write to info@sportscontentplaybook.com. We will answer within one month and may need to confirm your identity. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other U.S. state residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Cookies and local storage

SCP doesn’t use advertising cookies. We use what is necessary for the service to work and, only if you accept it, an anonymous measurement of how the website is used:

  • Sign-in session: your browser’s local storage keeps your session so you stay signed in.
  • Preferences: local storage remembers choices such as the website language, day / night colours, the currency and billing period you selected, and how you left the filters.
  • Payments: Stripe’s checkout and customer portal may set their own cookies, needed for secure payments and fraud prevention.
  • Embedded posts: if you play a post from a social media platform inside SCP or open one in a blog article, that platform may set its own cookies, under its own policy. Until you choose to open a post, nothing is loaded from the platform: we show a cover from our servers or a placeholder.
  • Usage measurement (only with your consent): a random identifier in your browser’s local storage and anonymous events about how the website and the demo / contact forms are used, to improve them. It carries no personal data and isn’t shared with third parties. If you reject it, nothing is stored.
  • Demo bookings: the Cal.com calendar, on the demo page and when you choose to book a demo, may set its own cookies, needed to show the available times and confirm your booking.

The first time you visit, a notice lets you accept or reject the usage measurement; you can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. You can also clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time; you will then need to sign in again.

9. People who appear in public posts

The Content Library contains posts that sports organizations, athletes and creators published publicly on social media, together with the public name of the account that published them. We process this information for the legitimate interest of offering a reference library for sports content professionals. If you appear in a post or own an account shown in SCP and want it removed, write to info@sportscontentplaybook.com and we will remove it promptly.

10. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls that let each member see only their own data, and providers with recognised security standards. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Children

SCP is intended for professionals and isn’t directed to children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by e-mail or in the platform before they apply. The current version is always on this page.
